Bobby Ficco

After completing his Masters in Education from Duquesne University, Bobby worked as a Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology teacher at both the high school and college levels. He is currently an adjunct professor and academic advisor at the Community College of Allegheny County. He has written curriculum, lab exercises, and standards-based assessments in each of these subject areas.

Bobby is well versed in the Keystone Exam for Biology and has helped many high school students find success through systematic and engaging instruction.

Bobby excels at providing support for struggling learners to grasp difficult concepts, but also offers opportunities for advanced students, inviting them to delve more deeply into curriculum topics. Bobby believes in helping students achieve both long and short-term goals by ensuring that they are aware of expectations for their learning. As a committed educator, Bobby utilizes individualized communication strategies, effective planning, and thorough knowledge of his subject matter to enhance student outcomes.
