Carly started her career in education in Boston, MA as an Applied Behavior Analyst in public schools as she completed her Masters Degree at Simmons College. She returned to her hometown and worked as a classroom teacher, co- teaching literacy and differentiating instruction for students with special needs. She is currently a Learning Specialist at a local independent school for grades K-5 specializing in direct reading instruction and assessment. Carly is trained in a variety of literacy interventions based in multi-sensory methods, allowing her to shape lesson plans to appeal to all learning styles. She enjoys creating engaging activities to help students build new skills and gain confidence.
