Jessica Wood

Jessica is currently a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. After receiving her undergraduate degree in 2013 for Middle Grades Education with a focus on Social Studies and English/Language Arts, Jessica tutored elementary and secondary level students at a tutoring company near Philadelphia. In 2016, she obtained her English as a Foreign Language Certificate and accepted an opportunity to teach abroad in Chanthaburi, Thailand. She designed plans and implemented lessons for seven subject areas for sixth grade students. Teaching and traveling inspired her to pursue her master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Jessica values the experiences that her educational endeavors have allowed her, and looks forward to guiding students to achieve their individual goals.
