Keri Mumford

Keri has had six years of tutoring experience in a variety of subject areas. In addition to tutoring, she currently mentors a group of undergraduate researchers in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh. Keri strives to allow students to experience the entire scientific process, from the conception of testable hypotheses to the communication of results. She is also a faculty researcher for Pitt’s department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology. She frequently guest lectures in Neuropharmacology and leads discussions around ethics in scientific research. As a tutor, Keri reminds students of the pay-off for hard work and strives to instill a sense of accomplishment in her clients.
