Sarah Armour

During her time as an undergrad and as a post-doc, Sarah served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate students in several engineering, statistics and neuroscience courses. She also participated in the Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative and the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins where she helped teach lab techniques and genetics to high school students during summer breaks. While living in Baltimore, Sarah was a member of Thread, a community-based organization which provides academic and social support to high school students who are at risk of failing. Now as a tutor, Sarah works to help her students develop confidence and build study skills necessary to carry them through their academic careers.
