Daniel Arnett

In addition to tutoring, Daniel is a robotics engineer who specializes in autonomous aircraft. During his Masters at Carnegie Mellon University, Daniel worked on robotics software for NASA contracts, and led the development of robotic systems for autonomous docking and towing for NASA and Department of Energy projects. Prior to his Masters, he was a mentor for a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team, teaching middle school students robotics, computer science, and time management. During his Bachelors at Slippery Rock University he developed a projection system for the university’s planetarium and gave hundreds of free planetarium shows for students of all ages.

Daniel is passionate about STEM and wants to share that passion with his students. In his free time, Daniel works as a Skydiving Coach, certified by the United States Parachute Association to teach the principals of safe skydiving and parachuting.
